Robert Winston was standing in the spot that he and Sam had determined would be a good place to meet as they had coordinated the meeting today. While he stood there, waiting on Sam to present himself, he did the touristy thing and started snapping photos using the SLR Camera. The advantage was he could zoom in on the landscape and capture details. Due to the nature of the way that the SLR camera worked, there would be no easy way for someone that wasn't looking through the viewfinder to know what he was taking pictures of. The views were incredible and would be even better if the power lines coming from the dam weren't in the way. To Robert, so much of natures beauty had been tarnished by the inventions of man. Hell, he despised the roads that he had used to get up here. The Pacific Northwest was a very beautiful place and would be better without the intrusions of man. A man about thirty years of age and around five and a half feet tall walked toward him.
"Photog007?" the man asked, hesitantly.
"Yes, I'm Photog007." Robert said. Photog007 was the name he used on the forum where The Dawn Patrol conducted it's planning.
"I'm Sam." Sam said. Robert was pretty sure that Sam was not his real name and if it were, that was not a smart choice. "As I was coming in, I saw that the gates on the far end of the the road that the power switching yard is on were open, I think I'm going to venture down there and see what's up. I've got my camera and I'll send you the video once I can review it."
"Be careful," Robert said, making his voice a lot gruffer than it had been previously. "If something happens I don't know you." Everything that The Dawn Patrol did was done in a two person team. It did two things: provided a backup as well as has one person to watch the other's back. Since it would take two people when the time came these were the pairs that had been worked out.
"I will," Sam said, patting his side. Robert took that to mean that the younger man was armed. Robert was armed himself, but he would never admit it to someone that he had just met. The pair went their separate ways. Robert was looking forward to going back to the room so he could take the fake beard and mustache off. The adhesive was bothering his skin and the fake whiskers were ticking his face and it was driving him nuts.
