Addison and Mollie were curled up in the same bed, basking in the afterglow of what Addison's mother would call a deplorable act. Addison didn't care, her mother wasn't here and she wasn't exactly planning on telling her mother. "That was great," Mollie said, cuddling in close to Addison, who was checking her phone. "I know," Addison said stroking Mollie's hair with her free hand. "Uh, that message I got a little bit ago was the go signal. Looks like we're going to do this in forty eight hours... Conrad wants us to start getting into position." Her voice wavered. The pair of them knew that the likely hood of them surviving the attack was next to none. Their part of the plan was to take the two rental cars they had and try to take down the transmission towers between the cities of Des Moines and Ames. How they accomplished that goal was up to them, but the easiest seemed to be simply taking out a leg of one of the towers, causing it to fall. They had discussed at length during their driving around that if one tower went it should take down other towers... They weren't sure if this would actually work the way they thought it would, but it was a theory. It would at least wreak havoc and if enough towers fell it would take time to repair them. That combined with the group that was going after the transformers it would take a while to repair the damage. "Are you ready for this?" Mollie asked. They both knew that they were probably going to die pulling this off. "You sound like you're having second thoughts." "I am..." Addison admitted. "Who are we to commit such an act. I hold a bachelors degree in Emergency Management, I should be on the other side working to stop us." She looked at Mollie, a sad smile on her face. "How many innocents are going to die?" Wiping a tear from her eye, she glanced around the room. "What are we really trying to accomplish?" "We're trying to prove that the United States is fallible to her allies and enemies," Molly said, brushing some of her brown curls behind her ear. "We are trying to make all of the things that this country does stand out so that we can rebuild and fix the system." "We who?" Addison asked, "Conrad? You think that he's going to wrest power away from the government of the United States? I think that we're gonna have some successes and this plan is mostly going to fail." She looked at Mollie. "What are you going to do if I can't do it?" Mollie smiled at Addison. "I'm going to come with you." She reached out to take Addison's hand. "These last few weeks have been the best of my life. I want to spend the rest of my life with you." "You reckon we should go to the authorities?" Addison asked, looking at Mollie. "Probably," Mollie said, "But where do we go?" "State Police?" Addison replied. "I've got the number to Department of Homeland Security on my laptop... If you see something, say something..." The phrase was the mantra of the Department of Homeland Security, meaning that if you saw something suspicious, it was better to say something. "Besides we could give up the whole plan. My minor was in information tech. I have a scraper that is saving the site that William set up. I bet with that data I could piece the whole plan together." "Can you do it in forty eight hours?" Mollie asked
