"Oh, Shit!" the kid sitting at the Cyber desk said. The kid at the cyber desk said. Everyone in the room turned and looked at him. "The site that they are using to communicate just went crazy. People are starting to report in that they are moving to their assigned positions." "What?" Emily said. "Put it on one of the monitors." The screen closest to the desk changed to show the website. "Cyber keep at it, if you get anything let me know." She picked up the phone and dialed a number. She hoped that Rachel was still awake. "This is Rachel." Emily heard Rachel's voice. She didn't sound drowsy. "It's Emily..." She glanced at the screens at the front of the room. "Activity on the website that The Dawn Patrol is using for communication just went through the roof. Something is about to happen." "okay, I'm on my way." Rachel said. "ETA is twenty minutes. Send out an NTAS bulletin about a potential attack in the next forty eight to minty six hours." "Copy," Emily said, I'll start getting department heads in here." No goodbyes were said, there wasn't time. Emily picked up the phone again and dialed another number. This one would be an automated call out to department heads and section chiefs. She would just have to punch in a code and the automated dialing system would take care of the rest. "I've got a potential target..." The kid siting at the Cyber desk said ||He really needs a name...|| "Looks like two points power infrastructure in Northern Ohio... I'll see if I can isolate it down further." "Weren't there images of the two nuclear plants up in Northern Ohio up on the site they were using?" Emily asked. "I'm going to start there and work outward." The Kid at Cyber said. "okay, keep at it..." Emily said. She turned to the person sitting at the ESF 15 desk. "Send out a NTAS bulletin about a potential Terrorist attack in the next forty eight to ninety six hours in the following states. Advise them that we will be passing information to the individual states directly soon. The states are Ohio, Tennessee, Iowa, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Washington and California." She paused for breath. "We believe that an attack is imminent." "Yes, Ma'am," the girl sitting at the ESF 15 desk said. She was just the ESF 15 representative that had floor duty, there were around fifteen people in the JIC that were ready to take any information she passed back to them and craft it into a message from the Department of Homeland Security. The tension level in the room had risen suddenly and if this were any other group, panic might be sweeping over the room. One of the doors to the room opened and Director Watson walked in. He was the highest ranking person in the room, but he let Emily remain in charge. Emily was surprised to see him. "What do we, Emily?" he asked "All of the sudden the website that the group The Dawn Patrol is using for communication started going crazy." Emily said, pointing to the display on the right side of the large screens at the front of the room. "Apparently some signal to prepare for what ever they are planning was sent out and this is everyone checking in." She glanced at the kid at the Cyber desk. "Roughly how many check ins would you say, Cyber?" "I've got at least ten right now," The kid said, glancing in Emily's direction. "The only thing I can tell you for sure is at least one pair of targets are in Ohio and there appears to be another few targets in the plains states, but I've not been able to pinpoint anything down." "Keep us updated." Director Watson. "Have you called Rachel?" "Yes, Sir." Emily said. "She said she would arrive in about twenty minutes." "okay," He nodded. "Keep me in the loop, and have Rachel come up and see me when she gets here after you brief her." "Will do, Sir." Emily said, glancing up at the screens at the front of the room. Director Watson left the Operations room. "Recovery Branch, Start planning a recovery plan based on what they might do. I'd rather have something than get blind sided by not having anything; Work with Cyber to get an idea of what it looks like they might target." "Yes, ma'am," The Recovery Branch chief said. "Ma'am," the kid working the Cyber desk said. "You might want to see this..." Emily walked over to the desk that had been set up for the kid from the Cyber department. His desk took up three of the normal desks that were normally occupied by the folks from ESF 9 which was Search and Rescue. He had six monitors all turned inward to face him. Anyone else would not be able to separate out the signal from the noise. "okay, so I think I have hard targets on the following: power lines coming out of the Bessie Davis and Perry nuclear plants in Ohio, Something called the Power Switch yard in Grand Coulée Washington, in addition to the power lines that run from the dam to the switching yard. And a similar attack on one of the dams that's part of the TVA system. There may be others, but That's the best I have at the moment." He said. "okay, Get it all on paper, and get it to me so I can alert the folks that can do something about it." Emily said, before walking back over to her workstation and picking up the phone. She called back into the Information and Planning branch so that they could prep the data packets to go to the folks in Ohio, Washington, and the TVA operation center in Nashville. ||Is this where it is?|| ||Detail website activity, start prepping for the attack on the federal level, start planning for recovery phase.||
