Tony pulled into the parking lot of the motel and looked around. He had found out that the room that Addison and Mollie were in was room one hundred nineteen. As he pulled the car he was driving around the backside of the building he saw the two Nissan Altima's that had been rented parked in front of the room. He parked and got out of the car he was driving and walked up to the door and found it locked. He looked around and then slid a card in the slot and started pushing buttons on a keypad that was attached to the card by a ribbon cable. Eventually he found the code that opened the door. He scribbled it down on his hand in case he needed it again. Before he shut the door, he hung the 'do not disturb' sign on the outside of the door and closed it, flipping the security latch on the inside. He just wanted to make sure that he wasn't disturbed as he examined the room. The keys for both cars were laying on the table, but the two women were no where to be found. He walked into the bathroom where he found the two burner phones in the sink, resting in enough water to render them inoperable. He pulled out his own phone, snapped a photo of the two phones and sent it to William and then waited a few moments. His phone rang a minute later. "Yeah, Boss." Tony said. "Where are they?" He asked. "Not sure, but I'd say they bolted..." Tony said. "What do you want me to do?" "Grab the phones and get the hell out of there." William said, "If they've gone to the authorities, then that room is probably being watched." "Alright, Boss." Tony said. He pulled the two phones out of the water, shook them off the best he could and then left the room. As he walked out of the room, he was met by two uniformed members of the Des Moines Police Department. "Good Morning, Sir," one of them said. "Can we ask what, uh, you were doing in that room?" "It belongs to a friend of mine, I was over last night and forgot my phone." Tony said, holding up his phone that was in is right hand. The two wet phones were in his jacket pocket, ruining the leather he was sure. "I've got somewhere I need to be heading, I just had a brief layover here last night and met up with my friend Addison so that I didn't need to get a room on my own." "okay," The cop said. "Have a good day Sir." "You too," Tony said, "Be safe" Tony walked over to his car and got in. He backed out of the parking spot and left the lot, heading north toward South Dakota. He would ditch the car and get a different set of wheels or something. This one he had actually stolen from a gas station when the owner had gone in and left the engine running and the doors unlocked. He figured he probably had another ten minutes before anyone put anything together and the car was being searched for. He pulled into a gas station and stopped at a pump and got out of the car and looked around. He left the keys in the cup holder next to an untouched mug of coffee and simply walked away from the car. No one noticed him leave. He walked over to a bus stop that was down the street from the gas station that he had left the car at. A bus stopped and, even though he didn't know where the bus was going, he boarded it. He would figure out how to make his way out of Des Moines.
