"The site just got deleted..." The kid sitting at the Cyber desk said. "Our last backup was three minutes ago. I'm issuing commands to freeze that and make a working copy that we can still access." They had been working throughout the day to try to pinpoint targets. Given that none of the photos were geotagged or were geotagged very incorrectly, the process had been slow. Only a few things stood out without doing extensive research. Some were somewhat easier. There was a photo of a glory hole spillway at one of the dams. There weren't that many dams that had glory holes, so that would be easy enough to track down. What they were planning to do with them was a whole another guessing game. Most of them weren't in places that were easy to get to, but they were relatively unguarded. The problem was really the photos of the electrical infrastructure. On the surface every substation looked the same as the next one, maybe the amount of lines coming in was different, but at a glance they all looked the same. One of the issues with trying to use the photos was that the images were often poor quality like they had been taken with a cheap phoen and trying to blow them up made things worse. One thing the Cyber team had was a bunch of what hat hackers. These guys worked for the agency and would do what was needed to protect the Homeland. The kid at the cyber desk was informed that they had gotten in to the server and had copied the logs prior to the server being deleted. They had a team that was going over the logs and would relay any important information they found. "Also, other members of the team managed to make a copy of the file structure of the server and have copies of everything on it. They're starting to dig through it now." "Thank you, Cyber," Emily said. "Please keep us updated if you glean any info from the data." "Yes, Ma'am" The kid said.
