64 Ocean Side Mall 11 20 AM

Alex pulled the Explorer into a parking spot and shut off the engine. “Yeah,” he was saying into the phone. “That’s her front...” Alex had called Delaney to inform him about the business cards that Brynn had dropped off to the table and to the wait staff of the restaurant. How many girls had visited the salon and ended up somewhere other than home...

“Well, I suppose that Vice has Jenny Armbruster, we could send her in, and see what happens...” Delaney said.

“Tomorrow, I want to get all of us together and we’re going to figure out how to take her down...” Alex said, opening the door. “She looked at the girls like she had never seen them before; I don’t think she knows what they look like.” He opened the door for Heather who had sat behind him on the ride to the mall from the restaurant. “Besides, it would have been dumb to try anything with Lilly, two CIU guys and myself in there anyway...”

“I can only imagine your face as she walked up to you...” Delaney said.

“I can too...” Alex said, bringing up the rear where he could keep an eye on everything going on around them.”We’re heading into Ocean Side, I’ll bring the cards by on our way back to the house.”

“Alrighty, Sarge,” Delaney said. “Have fun shopping...”

“Yeah...” Alex said. Truth be told he hated going shopping, and Lilly knew it. Right now he wasn’t going to let any one of the three of them out of his sight. He had setup location tracking on all three of the phones belonging to his wife and the girls that were in his custody. As long as they had thier phones he could find them. Samantha had already proven that she could do that...

“Let’s shop for Heather first, and then we’ll shop for Samantha.” Lilly said. She must have a plan in her head for how to attack the stores in the mall. “That is unless Samantha sees something she wants while we’re shopping for Heather...” She turned and winked at Samantha. Alex gets veto authority if he’s not comfortable with you two buying something.”

“If it were up to me you two would end up in burlap sacks...” Alex said, laughing.

“Spoken just like a father...” Lilly said as they walked up to an Old Navy that was in the mall. Samantha turned and gave Alex a sad smile. She beckoned him down so she could speak into his ear.

“Our dad would say stuff like that,” She said. “What’s going to happen to us?” Alex thought about that for a second.

“This isn’t the place to discuss that,” He whispered back to her. “Can we talk about it when we get home?”

“Yeah,” Samantha said. “I guess your house is home now...”
